Welcome to The Duck Hunt

Hello all and welcome to The Duck Hunt.  This page is an attempt to do what no other website has offered:  stories, pictures, and (hopefully one day) up-to-date live feeds of The Don's whereabouts.  I encourage all readers to submit any hilarious stories you have of "The Donster" to me, Shooter McGavin.  With your help we can keep the Duck in our crosshairs for years to come.

So I will get the ball rolling with this as I have realized that no matter where I go or what I do, I will never be out of the spotlight of ridicule from my fraternity brothers. So here is the rundown of my first day being duck hunted...

10:00am: Wake up, shit, shave, shower and make a lunch that consists of a London broil sandwich (last night's leftovers) with cheese and Worcestershire sauce; an apple; and three bottles of water.

11:00am: Report to the United Parcel Service for Duty.

12:30pm: I delivered a package to the Merril Lynch office in Bedminster and I have the voluptuous and slightly overweight but pleasant blond receptionist sign for it. I gave her the pen, she signed, but could not get the pen back into its clip on my package scanner to which she stated, "I can't get it in the hole." And I replied, "that's what she said.," without thinking. We shared a laugh thankfully, and I was on my way back to the elevator then the brown package car outside.

2:45pm: I inhaled my sandwich on the run as we had to deliver 222 packages between 11am and 7pm. My 100% Irish partner, Frank, engaged in Plax talk with me as we listened to Mike Francesa.

6:00pm: I bid Frank a due and raced home to a dinner my mother prepared of Penne and gravy with salad. I dined along wioth my father as my eldest sister, Tara, was at work; youngest sister, Dee, was sick with strep on the couch in my basement; and my mother was running out to a church meeting. Immediately after dinner I took a dump, and checked my email. I yelled at several of my dogs.

6:45pm: After writing this post, I will lay on my couch and watch the rest of Sportscenter, and some type of sporting related television for the rest of the evening before retiring to bed at around 11pm.

Talk to you soon...
Joey
